When CTS began in 1985 as a single-truck operation doing cartage work for paper mills in the Green Bay area, it was impossible to know what a leader the company would become in Midwest regional transportation services. But here we are 30+ years later with a fleet of over 150 trucks, providing exceptional, predictable transportation and logistics solutions in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan.

GREEN TRUCKING INITIATIVES

We guarantee our customers that their products will be delivered safely, economically, and always on time.  When you choose CTS for your transportation needs, you’re committing to a company that places a high importance on the environment.  We’ve partnered with the Environmental Protection Agency as a SmartWay affiliate to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, curb air pollution, and improve fuel efficiency for sustainability.  We’re proud that 98 percent of our fleet runs on compressed natural gas (CNG), which reduces customer costs and has positive impacts on the environment. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, CTS was given the Forward Fleet Award by Wisconsin Clean Cities, as well as honored by Heavy Duty Trucking (HDT) as a Top Green Fleet of 2019 and ranked the #16 fleet in the nation by NAFA Fleet Management Association in 2021. Most recently, CTS was honored as the recipient of an NGV Achievement Award in 2022 by Natural Gas Vehicles for America (NGVA) for its dedication to clean fuel.

ELD MANDATE

We are a forward-thinking logistics company on the edge of innovation. Although the December 2017 ELD Mandate has impacted many, CTS has maintained a strong stance of preparedness, since we are 100% ELD equipped and have been for years. With the change, many companies ran into problems sustaining their businesses. CTS has not. We have been awarded some major new business with new customers because we are already ELD outfitted. We have a large trailer pool with a 8.4:1 trailer to tractor ratio, which is the key to helping our drivers get the maximum they can get with ELD’s. This leads to more drop and hook business both at the shipper and consignee which means more time driving miles.
